"Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour."
(Leviticus 19:15 KJV)
Attitudes are important to Our Awesome God. An attitude can be defined as a positive or negative evaluation of people, objects, event, activities, ideas, or just about anything in your environment. Psychologists define attitudes as a learned tendency to evaluate things in a certain way.
"Attitudes structure can be described in terms of three components.
Affective component: this involves a person’s feelings / emotions about the attitude object. For example: 'I am scared of spiders'.
Behavioral component: the way the attitude we have influences how we act or behave. For example: 'I will avoid spiders and scream if I see one'.
Cognitive component: this involves a person’s belief / knowledge about an attitude object. For example: 'I believe spiders are dangerous'." McLeod, S. A. (2009). Attitudes and Behavior. Retrieved
Your attitudes are important to know because attitudes will determine how you feel about something, how you behave, and what you believe about something or someone. It will, also, influence what you say or do about any event, person or thing in your life. An attitude is usually either positive or negative. Your overall attitude will also be positive or negative depending on which predominates in your individual attitudes.
Attitudes influence what and how you believe in God. Attitudes can make you happy or sad. It is hard to change your attitudes and usually requires a Christian councilor and God. Change your attitudes if necessary, but believe completely in Our Awesome God. His Way is the only Way to heaven and a happy eternal life! Be with me in heaven with God.
