"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction."
(Proverbs 1:7 KJV)
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
(James 1:5 KJV)
If you have knowledge, you have taken information (hopefully accurate information) from experts and memorize this information until you know it. But you may not have the ability to do anything because you may not know how to use this knowledge in the right way and at the right time for the best results. But our God is Awesome and He knows when and how to use it since He gave it to you.
Wisdom tells you what to do next. It helps you understand the proper application. It makes it possible for you to do something that will get the results you want. The Book of Proverbs is given to direct us toward wisdom and wisdom is sometimes found in the sayings of the prophets. But the very best way to receive it is to ask Our Awesome God for wisdom and believe He will give it. God gives wisdom! He gave it to King Solomon (2 Chronicles 7:11-12).
God rarely gives both knowledge and wisdom to the same person as that has a tendency to make a person arrogant and prideful and Our Awesome God dislikes both characteristics. So wisdom is probably the best one to have, otherwise, a person can become very frustrated and do the wrong thing at the wrong time with the wrong person. If you have a knowledgeable person to give suggestions and God to give wisdom, the results will almost always be best.
Take time today to ask God for wisdom about that problem you have. God is always the source of wisdom. He is always ready for you to ask Him. God loves you! God is Awesome and knows all the answers and has the wisdom to apply the right answer to the problem in the right way and at the right time. PRAISE THE LORD!!
