"When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation."
(Psalms 27:8-9 KJV)
If we are to become all we can be, we must spiritually meet our God and ask Him for forgiveness for breaking God's rules that govern all the galaxies in the universes. But even we need to learn our facts by 1) knowing ourselves (sins) and what we do wrong and right and then, 2) we need to acknowledge our need for Our Awesome God's grace. If you are not a Christian, you need to seek God's forgiveness at this time. If you are Christian, we Christians should realize He doesn't expect us to be super Christians to help everyone but to gradually develop into mature Christians that will help others and Him to tell about His Son, Jesus Christ.
You have a life time, long or short, to come to a knowledge of your soul; a knowledge of your capacity for good and evil, and of the uselessness of frantic activity without His help. Jesus Christ is your salvation but you must recognize that He is also the only way to know yourself and what you can do with His Help. Come spiritually into the presence of Our Awesome God and meet Him with love and respect. This needs to be with prayer so that you can feel that deep peace that He will give you. Our Lord is in control, not us. So relax!
Whether you are a Christian, just beginning your journey, or a Christian with 80 years of service, there comes a time to relax and remember that you must only tell people the gospel story, you don't save them. You keep living as a Christian should, but you can't save them, nor are you responsible for their decision. Just meet Our Awesome God as the best Christian you can be!
Meet God with us as we study His Holy Bible and learn more about Him and what He wants. First of all, Our Awesome God wants all to enjoy heaven with Him and totally see Him face to face. He loves you! He wants you to love Him and obey Him!
Join us at LWBC every Sunday at 9:30 AM, we have small group Bible Studies and at 10:30 AM, we meet in the sanctuary for Worship Service. Our programs include AWANA for children and an Intercessory Prayer Team but are varied as we teach, study and preach from Our Awesome God's Holy Bible. We love visitors and practice the "love one another" commandment to all.
