"Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong."
(1 Corinthians 16:13 KJV)
Our Awesome God has a purpose for your life and a plan on how to help you achieve your purpose. You may not know what that purpose is, but listen, ready to go when He urges you in a direction. He always wants you to believe in and follow Jesus Christ. He will guide and push you to do what He wants you to do and strengthen certain gifts He has given you. You may turn Him down but will usually find yourself miserable if you do.
We need to understand that Jesus Christ will not lead us to our purpose here on earth through an easy or self-indulgent life. That would not strengthen us, it will not lift us up, but would only take us down. Remember, to achieve His purpose and yours, your focus must be on Him and His purpose for you.
There are some people who always avoid anything that requires them to work or expend energy, mentally or physically who may need to realize that God wants your best. There are also people who avoid things that require self-denial, self-restraint or self-sacrifice. It will be difficulties and hard work that will make us able to overcome problems with the help of Our Awesome God.
Our Awesome God teaches us many things over a lifetime that He can put together to make us be good at what He plans for us to do in eternity. He loves us and plans only good for us. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11 KJV) So don't be afraid to try doing things God's way. Ask Him if this is what He wants while inviting Him to help. It won't be too difficult for you and Jesus Christ. So don't complain about the task or even how hard it is, but be grateful that Our Awesome God has a purpose for you in His kingdom and certainly a place for you in heaven. Praise His Holy Name!
Meanwhile, keep focused on Our Awesome God and His kingdom and will. He wants us to know His plan, found in His Bible, and to go into all His world, telling them about His plan. It needs to start with you becoming a Christian if you aren't. God loves you. Then realize all the laws you have broken and that Jesus Christ came to earth as a man to save you from having to pay for breaking those laws. A Christian is just a saved sinner. Become a Christian by repenting of those sins and asking Him for forgiveness.

On Wednesdays, we meet at 7:00 PM for Prayer Requests, and a Bible Study follows until 8:00 PM. First, it is time that you should know and love Our Awesome God as your creator and Savior.
