"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
(Matthew 28:19 KJV)
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
(Mark 16:15 KJV)
The above Holy Bible Scriptures tell us to go into all the nations of the world and preach to every creature the good news of Our Awesome God, His Son and the Holy Ghost. Then baptize them in the Trinity. God wants everyone to hear, at least once, about what He has done and the salvation that Jesus Christ has brought to sinful mankind.
As Christians, we should all be able to lead a lost soul to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. To be able to effectively witness, one must be convinced of what the Bible says concerning salvation. But the words Sharing Faith seem to mean a lot more than just witnessing, for sharing gives the feeling of helping while delivering this loving message to others. We do have some mighty supernatural help agents with the Holy Spirit and Our Awesome God to show us the way.
There are three ways that the Supernatural Agents work: 1) with common sense, 2) with power and 3) with love. This is how they work to help us.
Common sense: The Christian faith is based on facts and not fiction. The Resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:6) is a fact as historians wrote of it. The Bible is full of prophecies written centuries before they were fulfilled in Jesus Christ. There are ancient manuscripts and archeological evidence of what is written in the Bible.
Power: We share our faith by declaring Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose again from the dead on the third day. But, do not attempt to share your faith without prayer and the help of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
Love: This is a mighty force, one given to us by Our Awesome God. Jesus Christ was the greatest example of what is true, pure love and He said, "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (John 13:35 KJV). Sometimes, helping others with some small task will open up the chance to share the faith you have (Proverbs 31:26) with them. We are then examples of our faith by loving them enough to help them.
If you are a Christian who has strayed away from Our Awesome God or someone who has never been a Christian or a person who needs to help minister to others, join us at Living Word Baptist Church on Sunday at 9:30 AM for Bible Study and at 10:30 AM for Worship Service. At 6:00 PM we have a Bible Study along with AWANA for children until 7:30 PM. On Wednesdays, we meet at 7:00 PM for Prayer Requests and a Bible Study follows until 8:00 PM. We welcome all people and love them!
