"This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."
(1 Timothy 1:15 KJV)
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
(John 3:16 KJV)
Jesus Christ, Our Awesome God's son, has been acclaimed as the greatest religious leader who ever lived, as being the most influential person to have lived on our planet, and as being unique to the degree that no one can be compared to Him. But considering Jesus Christ merely on the basis of a very good life and His excellent moral teaching will not remove the stumbling blocks to Christianity raised by an unbelieving world. The real test of what one thinks of Him must revolve around who He claimed to be and what He accomplished during His brief mission to our Earth. Was He a liar or God's Son?
The predominant theme of the Holy Scriptures is Jesus Christ and the work of Jesus Christ. He is the Son of Our Awesome God and He left His exalted place in heaven to become a human being, to die a painful death by crucifixion, and to be buried in a cave. He rose again on the third day from the dead. He is the only all-sufficient Savior of the world and He lives. He will come again to this earth to rule and maintain His Father's kingdom. If we remove Jesus Christ from the Bible Scriptures, it robs them of all coherent meaning and continuity. And it will rob you of going to heaven.
Jesus Christ, Our Awesome God's Son:
1) is the Son of God (John 1:2,3;John 6:69; 1 Peter 2:24)
2) Became Man (Phillipians 2:7,8;John 1:14;)
3) Did the work of the Father (John 12:27; Romans 3:24; 1 Peter 3:18)
After Jesus Christ humbled Himself to become a lowly man (a created being), then teaching, becoming the perfect man, being beaten and mocked, hung on a piece of wood with nails in His wrists and dying there for our sins, wouldn't you think we could, at least, Thank Him daily? But how many of you told Jesus Christ "Thank You" today? How many really believe in Jesus Christ?
Come join us as we work in Our Awesome God's vineyard, telling others about His story, Jesus Christ's Salvation, and our eternal home with Him, trying to help them to understand Our Creator better. Our church starts with small groups on Sunday at 9:30 AM and a Worship Service at 10:30 AM. On Sunday evening at 6:00 PM, a Bible Study meets for an hour along with a program for children called AWANA. We have a Prayer Meeting and Bible Study that meets at 7:00 PM on Wednesday. Learn with us about Jesus Christ! We love visitors.
