Life is either invested in God’s work or is spent as was said of the prodigal son in ”riotous living”. It is a sad thing to me to see people spending their lives on anything other than knowing and doing the will of God. It is the only thing that is completely good, acceptable to God and perfectly mature at the same time (Romans 12:1 & 2.). I have chosen to invest my life in helping others to learn the Word of God in all its fullness so they might metamorphosize into what God wants them to be. This work has led me into more than 30 different countries and now to Living Word Baptist Church of Little Elm, Texas. My ministry remains the same as it was when I was a foreign missionary. It is to “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” (2Timothy 4:2) As God gives the grace, the pulpit ministry is planned to lead people to an understanding of what the holy text says and how to apply it to their daily lives. In addition to the teaching and preaching we offer pastoral counseling that will include reproving (admonishing; pointing out sin), rebuking (showing corrective action), exhorting ( giving encouragement) with patience and correct teaching. As long as God’s people at Living Word Baptist ask me to do so and as long as God gives me the ability, that is what I will offer as their minister. If God has called you to invest your life in ministering to others I invite you to come and be a part of what God is doing here. I also stand ready to lead individuals or groups on a discipleship course that can and has changed lives. God is doing great things in Little Elm through this Church come and see.
